We hope you'll take a few minutes to get acquainted with our staff!   Bob Strang, CPA - Retired Bob Strang, founder of Strang, Olsen & Lynch, CPAs, retired in 2006 after over 40 years of practice as a CPA in Florida.  Bob played a very active role in the development of Punta Gorda, serving as a member of the Punta Gorda Community Redevelopment Agency for many years, and constructing the "Strang Building" at the corner of Marion Avenue and US41 North, which serves as a landmark with its murals depicting the early days in Punta Gorda.     Ron Olsen, CPA - Partner Ron Olsen has been with the firm since 2000.  Having served our country in the US Navy, Ron retired from the military and came to Punta Gorda with his wife Michele.  Ron is very active in the Punta Gorda community serving on numerous non-profit boards including the Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce, the Visual Arts Center Endowment Trust, and the Peace River Botanical Gardens.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Charlotte County Estate Planning Council.    Brenda Lynch, CPA - Partner Brenda Lynch spent many years in the private accounting field working as corporate controller for numerous industries before joining the firm in 2003.  Brenda came to Charlotte County in 1992 with her husband and family.  She serves as treasurer on numerous non-profit boards including TEAM Punta Gorda, PGI Civic Association, New Operation Cooper Street, and Business and Professional Women of Charlotte County.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Charlotte County Estate Planning Council and the Business and Professional Women of Charlotte County.    Mary Williams, CPA Mary Williams graduated from the State University of New York with a Bachelor of Science degree and major in accounting.  She was licensed as a CPA with the State of Florida in 2008 and has over twenty years of experience in public and private accounting.  Mary is currently a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.  She has been with the firm since 2004.     Mary Ann Piazza - Office Manager Mary Ann Piazza joined the firm in 1997. She is instrumental in running a tight ship and ensuring that work flows through the office in a timely manner.    Michele Olsen - Sr. Accountant Michele Olsen has been with the firm since 2000 and was very instrumental in bringing her husband and now partner to the firm. Judy Lepley - Accountant Doreen Wickstrom - Accountant     Janelle Scribner - Receptionist Janelle Scribner has been with the firm since 2007 and has lived in Florida since early 2007.  She came to Charlotte County from Virginia where she worked 3 years as an Administrative Assistant for a CPA firm.
